Ten useful top ideas for the coach

Most trained trainees help to succeed. Below are some tips from professionals, which help any coach win the group alongside him:

1- Shake hands with the participants as they enter the training room to build a relationship on a personal basis.

2. Replace the word “f” with the word “but” whenever possible, such as “I have made an interesting point and your colleagues do not agree with you”, you have not lost anything in your letter, but you have reduced the risk of marginalizing the trainee.

3. If the debate intensifies, be on the side of the group, a sign of respect if it is not by agreement.

Ask the group for proposals when you answer difficult questions.

5- Use a head gesture when you listen to suggestions, which confirms your effective listening and interest.

6. Move as close to the trainees as possible during the discussion.

7- Control the group carefully to direct their energies. Let them take a break when they feel their attention deteriorates.

8. Use the names of the participants constantly.

9. Show your respect for the intelligence of the members of the group through examples and language.

10. From the outset, define the discussion method and topics that are irrelevant to and inappropriate to the session.

Coach Cons: Top 10

Below are some caveats (don’ts) from real professionals about the behavior of the trainer: the trainees themselves.

1- Exaggeration and an insecere sense of the implementation of the coach.

2. Many personal stories that have nothing to do with the subject matter at hand.

Poor preparation.

Delaying the start of the course to accommodate late participants.

5- Stability in one place.

6- Lack of control over participants who monopolize the conversation.

7- Speak to the group with a breakdown.

8- The use of childish toys.

9- Reading from over head projector instead of expanding the explanation of important points.

10. Do not finish the course on time.
